These pieces often begin as an impulse, an observation, an emotion, or an impression. Like ‘automatic writing’ during a seance, I often don’t know what message or image is coming through until I begin to splash color and lay shapes onto whichever surface called to me.

Internal dialogs, states of physical and emotional being, the world and the people around me leave their impressions, I just hope to convey some sense of how these elements filter through my eyes, my body, and my mind.
